In an exotic setting, where winds are balmy and drinks are served on a tray. That’s where we are when we thought of the collection Budapest Hotel. Furniture that are courageous, glamorous and self-confident. We played with animal prints along with bold patters and graphic prints on the finest of materials. Budapest is the place where old meets new, and where adventure always awaits.
A scenery where the sandstone tones are caressed by the salty winds from the nearby sea. We are close to the African continent where the cicadas sing and nights are long. Marbella Club is festive, embracing and welcoming. Guests sit comfortably during long discussions about travels, worldly news and heartfelt topics. Surrounded by a gentle murmur of voices, dialects and languages, the ambiance is international and warm.
We lean back in soft linen, with a fresh mint tea in hand. The safari green piping throughout the sofa design adds smartness to a comfortable piece. The hand printed Fermoie fabric is reminiscent of the restaurant setting at Marbella Club. Multiple hand made pieces of comfort lay out a collection that is easy to pair and even easier to enjoy. Marbella Club is about vacation, about relaxation and entertainment at home. An ode to the time and space that is calm and nourishing in a time when we need it most.
City lights, bustling streets, night clubs and avant-garde fashion is the scene we envision when creating the Berlin Collection. But as we are always about creating balance, the modern, contemporary, edgy look needs the juxtaposition of relaxing curves and soothing palette, thus we travel over the weekend to Capri, to recharge, to eat citrus fruits and to enjoy the italian archipelago. In the Capri collection we find soft hues, curved lines, a bit of zesty yellows mixed with deep turquoise to reflect the water in the Aegan sea. White Lotus style meets Talented Mr Ripley. Back in Berlin again, we are reminded that we can get the best of both worlds. We never have to pick and stick to a certain style. Pick both, why don’t you. Mix it up. Because you want to satisfy both the cool club kid (you know you think that you (still) are that person) that listens to low tech music, and the dreaming Hemingway in your mind.
For this capsule, RIJD partners with The Interior Guide with Mimi Basart as its curator – a platform celebrated for its refined aesthetic, global reach, and deeply discerning followers. Together, we present a collection shaped by femininity, elegance, and couture-level detail – set against the poetic, architectural romance of Amsterdam.
Structured fabrics, silky trims, textured linens, reflective surfaces and elegant layering create depth and personality. Each item can be tailored in tone, trim, fabric and detail – allowing our clients and the followers of The Interior Guide to shape pieces that mirror their own curated lifestyles and global sensibilities. The result is a collection that feels like editorial couture translated into furniture: feminine yet architectural, modern yet timeless, refined yet expressive. A world where every curve, seam and surface is intentional, designed to meet the expectations of a community that knows, loves and demands beauty at its highest level.
